What is mineral makeup?
Mineral makeup a loose podwer, which is made up of crushed mineral from the earth. It is much kinder to your skin as it contains no dyes, oils, waxes, binders, fragrance, toxins or other fillers.
What are the (if there are) benefits to Mineral Makeup?
The one big benefit is that, mineral makeup is safe for all skin types; due to the fact that it is non-cosmogenic. Non-cosmogenic means that it won't clog your pores, so anyone can wear mineral makeup. It's great for sensitive, dry, oily, and acne prone skin or even for someone with rosacea, it will help in soothing the skin. The reason why mineral makeup won't clog your pores is because there are no oils as it's a dry loose powder. It will allow your skin to breathe.
How do I know what colour to choose?
Well the best way to try out a colour is by purchasing a sample, which will only cost you $ 1.50.
The sample will last you a fair number of applications:
6-12 for eye shadows and blush
2 -4 for foundations
If you have any questions though, please feel free to contact me, I would love to help out any way I can.
Do I need to apply a primer under the loose mineral eye shadows?
Since loose mineral eye shadows are pure pigments, with no binders and waxes, I would highly recommend using a primer. The primer can simply be your concealer, mineral foundation, or an eye primer of your choice.
The reason I suggest to use a primer is so that the pigments (eye shadow) have something to adhere to, since there are no binding agends in loose mineral powders.
With that said, my loose minerak eye shadows do just fine without a primer. The major difference is the intensity. The colour will show up lighter without a primer, but will still have a lasting effect.
